Step 1: Research & Information Gathering
The first step of our process is to gather all of the necessary research material. The more material and information that we have to work with, the more beneficial your website will be for you or your business. This helps us understand who you are, who you are business is, and aligning our vision 100% with your vision of how you want to present yourself online.
Step 2: Planning
As ancient Chinese military general, Sun Tzu, stated, “The general who wins a battle makes many calculations in his temple ere the battle is fought.” What this translates to in the internet world is that the more planning and calculations that we make prior to beginning the project, the more streamlined and faster the process becomes. The reason for this is simple, planning reduces trial and error. With proper planning, there is virtually no trial and error, allowing us to create your website with maximum efficiency. During the planning phase, wireframes may also be used to provide visual representations of how the design should look.
Step 3: Design
Drawing from the information gathered during the first step, as well as the planning from the second step, we can now proceed to having one of our qualified professional designers create a draft of your website. We will send the design to the client for revisions, until the finished product satisfies the client 100%, as well as meets our strict requirements for a professional web design. With proper communication and the talent from one of our world class artists, the artwork will match both your needs and tastes down to the precise pixel.
Step 4: Development
This phase of the creation process is very important. As of right now, the webpage is simply a PSD (Photoshop Source file) and a PNG or JPEG. We are a W3 Certified firm, so we have one of our qualified professional front-end developers code your website into a semantic HTML/CSS page with proper syntax and XHTML validated code. What this means for you as a client is during browser upgrades and changes to the internet, other websites will break but not yours, because yours was built on a solid foundation.
Step 5 & 6: Quality Assurance & Website Delivery
As we begin to wrap up the major parts of construction, we have to make sure that there are no bugs, browser compatibility issues, functionality or user interface issues. We go through a strict series of tests to make sure everything works properly like it is suppose to, then we deliver the website and launch it!
Step 7: Web Site Maintenance
After we deliver the website to you, if you need any changes or updates completed, we can provide maintenance for your website by one of our qualified Project Managers and Developers.
